About the Project

Powerplay Collective is a project that has been initiated with the aim of helping girls in India regain their love for sports. The project was initiated after realizing that many girls from disadvantaged backgrounds stop playing sports as they grow older, often due to outdated stereotypes or a lack of safe spaces. 

This project seeks to address this issue by providing a platform for girls to regain confidence and learn the value of teamwork through team games. We are looking to incorporate new learning materials, stories of Indian sportswomen, and even improve play spaces.
